FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to mining, namely to method of underground gasification. Method includes arrangement of horizontal well sections in coal layer. Wells are linked, ignition is carried out, as well as draught supply and discharge of productive gas. Pipelines are arranged in horizontal sections of wells, and their outlet holes are moved along well, as coal gas production is exhausted. Horizontal sections of wells in coal layer are arranged with length that at least twice exceeds distance between wells. Wells are arranged on layer soil. Wells are arranged with diametre that makes at least 0.25-0.8 from layer capacity, for this purpose, directional drilling plants are used. Pipelines arranged in horizontal wells are made of material with melt temperature of up to 150°C. Pipeline walls are equipped with perforation. Blow well used is well arranged downstream. Method provides for stable production of high-calorie gas with high completeness of coal layer stocks gasification, independently on its capacity and coal strength.
