FIELD: measuring equipment engineering, possible use for controlling profile of three-dimensional objects, and also visualization thereof.

SUBSTANCE: device contains a source of illumination for object surface sections, block for registration of strip image, block for determining coordinates of surface relief. Includes N-channel digital electronic block for processing image of strips distorted by relief. Each one of N channels includes modulator with two inputs, generator of support signals, memorizing element and interpolator with two inputs. First input of modulator is connected to output of corresponding generator of support signals. Second input of modulator is connected to output of strip image registration block. Modulator output is connected to input of corresponding memorizing element. First input of interpolator is connected to output of corresponding memorizing device. Second input of interpolator is connected to input of interpolator from a channel with number lesser by one, and output of Nth interpolator is connected to input of block for determining coordinates of relief of controlled object surface.

EFFECT: increased precision when measuring profile of surface of three-dimensional objects with simultaneously increased speed when determining profile irregularities.
