FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device may be used for remote measurement of linear dimensions and visualisation of solid 3D surface of investigated objects in real time mode. The device comprises an optical system, a matrix radiation receiver, an amplification unit, an information processing unit. A combined infrared polarisation filter is introduced, which is installed perpendicularly to the optical axis of the device in any place along with thermal radiation from the object to the radiation receiver.
EFFECT: remote measurement of object parameters by its own thermal optical radiation based on registration and processing of one thermal image.
