FIELD: electric power industry.

SUBSTANCE: swinging dampers for overhead power transmission line (OHPL) wires. The damper for swinging, suboscillations and vibration of split-phase wires of an overhead power transmission line (OHPL) contains two intra-phase spacers in the form of frames with beams for each of the wires in the split phase, fixed to the wires using clamps at the ends of the beams, a horizontal equal-arm pendulum located below the wires perpendicular to them on a support axis parallel to the wires in its middle, the ends of the support axis are fixed in flanges, which are fixed to the ends of two U-shaped damper suspensions, in the upper parts of which paired bushings are placed, through which the suspensions are connected to the spacers, these bushings are made of viscoelastic elastomer in the form of diaphragm bushings, which are fixed in the corresponding O-shaped windows in the frames of the specified spacers.

EFFECT: reduced intensity of swinging and vibration of split wires of overhead power lines.
