FIELD: equipment which may be used for evaluation of cereal crops development dynamics in dense habitat.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has rounded protective casing incorporating reservoir. There are plates within lower part of reservoir, said plates being sharpened at two sides. Elastic material such as polyurethane foam is placed onto plates. Plank with opening is positioned above reservoir. Stem with restricting devices and loading platform are positioned within opening. Protective protrusion is formed along edge of reservoir, said protrusion being provided with handles and retainers inserted therein. Stem is made obtuse in its lower part and has thickness corresponding to 2-3 thicknesses of seedlings of crop under investigation. Apparatus of such construction allows cereal crop plants to be grown with controlled soil density, reaction of cereal crop plants to soil of various structures to be investigated and cultivation process to be worked out on the basis of resultant experimental data.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for obtaining of precise data enabling working out of adequate cultivation process.
