FIELD: medicine, cardiology.

SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to study the parameters of ECHO-cardiography (ECHO-CG) with their subsequent analysis. Moreover, for evaluating clinical effect of eprosartan in patients with obesity-associated arterial hypertension one should study anthropometric data by taking into account the index of body weight (IBW), parameters of daily monitoring of arterial pressure (DMAP) at detecting average-daily diastolic arterial pressure (DAP) and the index of the time of average-daily DAP (ITDAP). According to ACHO-CG data one should investigate the weight of left-ventricular myocardium (WLVM) followed by the calculation of the site of the division of prognostic diagnostic coefficient DC=1/1+e-y, where e=2.72 (mathematical constant), and y=-6.14-0.134×IBW+0.051×average-daily DAP+0.044×average-daily ITDAP+0.01×WLVM. Moreover, in patients at the values DC<0.6 one should state upon the presence of stable hypotensive effect and in patients at the values DC>0.6 it is possible to expect the absence of hypotensive effect of eprosartan. The innovation enables to increase the information value in evaluating the efficiency of monotherapy conducted.
