FIELD: cleaning of gases.

SUBSTANCE: ash catcher comprises vertical housing whose top section is cylindrical and bottom section is diverging and is connected with the space of the ash collector. The top face of the housing is covered with a plug through which a gas discharging pipe passes. The wall of the pipe and inner side of the top section of the vertical housing form a ring space. The branch pipe for flue gases is in communication with the top section of the ring passage. The space of the vertical housing receives the control device that has rod mounted at its longitudinal axis and top end locked at the plane of the gas-discharging pipe . The bottom end is locked in the plane of the vertical housing preferably in its diverging part. The core made of a hollow housing shaped into a rotation body is set on the rod for permitting reciprocation. The top section of the core is conical and its walls are concave. The bottom part of the core is conical and has convex walls. The top and bottom parts of the core are interconnected via the edges of the base. The part of the rod that provides reciprocation of the core is provided with thread and nuts mounted above and under the core. The ends of the rod are provided with thread with nuts and passes through the bushings secured to the radially oriented plates whose free ends are connected with the inner side of the gas-discharging pipe and vertical housing. The radially oriented plates are used as blades for quenching the gas flow.
