FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes use of sprayed water and application of centrifugal force to separate suspended solids and to remove the separated material, to this end the scrubbed gas flow is introduced tangentially to the ash collector housing. Movement of the gas flow is made helical and downward so that axial symmetry of the flow velocity field is ensured in any horizontal cross-section at the whole height of the scrubbing area, for this purpose volume of the scrubbed gas is introduced into the ash collector cavity by at least two tangential flows of the similar volumes symmetrical in regard to the longitudinal axis of the ash collector. Before entry into the ash collector the flow of dry gas flow is arranged into a rectangular shape, preferably elongated in vertical. Water spraying is made in specific cross-sections of each tangential flow, outside the ash collector cavity, to this end horizontally-oriented plumes of sprayed water are formed, they cover cross-section of these flows distributed in the height of specific cross-section with overlapping of edge areas. The plumes symmetry plane coincides with the plane of the specific cross-sections. The section area is regulated for the channel communicating the scrubbing zone and the gas outlet pipe.
EFFECT: high quality of scrubbing.
