SUBSTANCE: proposed steel contains the following constituents, mass-%: carbon, 0.2-0.3; silicon, 0.2-0.3; manganese, 0.5-1.0; calcium, 0.005-0.01; tantalum, 18.0-10.0; titanium, 18.0-20.0; copper, 0.5-1.0; the remainder being iron. Contact with instruments made from this steel is safe for oral cavity and tooth tissue.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and safety of instruments made from steel.
