FIELD: measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises rotating shafts provided with two rotors made of cylindrical members. The shafts and the members are axially aligned. The holders are arranged along the cylindrical members . The permanent magnets are set at the ends of the holders. The stator is interposed between two rotors and is made of a dielectric beam that is secured to the base. The free end of the beam is provided with the electromagnet. The beam is set into the coil of the fiber-optic interferometer. When the rotors rotate synchronously the signal at the output of the interferometer is zero. The discrepancy in rotation velocity of the shafts generates photocurrent pulses at the output of the interferometer the shape of which carry information about the value of discrepancy.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
