FIELD: nuclear power engineering; pressurized-water reactors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device for releasable attachment of fuel elements has collets on bottom ends and is installed in nuclear reactor fuel assembly incorporating bottom nozzle provided with supporting members, support grid with holes around collet whose outer collars engage banks of holes. Mounted under support grid is movable grid provided with interlocking members for collets, and minimum one partially compressed spring is fitted between movable grid and supporting members. Proposed device for releasing fuel elements in fuel assembly has housing installed outside coaxially to bottom nozzle and provided with holes and pins which pass through housing holes and bottom nozzle slots to side surface of movable grid, as well as device for setting pins in motion.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of holding fuel elements in working condition within bottom grid, facilitated removal of fuel elements from bottom grid for their repairs.
