SUBSTANCE: proposed optically changing element contains set of thin film layers with at least one intermediate layer 15 to provide color distortion by interference. Said intermediate layer has thickness on first section 19a, 19b of thin film layer set other than on second section 19c, 19d in thin film layer set. Thicknesses intermediate layer on first and second sections are chosen to create first distortion of color on first section of thin film layer set means of interference and on second section of thin film layer set, second distortion of color other than that on first section. Said optically changing element contains also diffraction structure 17 closing first and/or second section of thin film layer set.
EFFECT: improved protection of objects against forgery.
