FIELD: polymer production.
SUBSTANCE: object of invention is to produce polyprenols showing high biological activity and being starting materials for important biological regulators of living organisms. Process according to invention comprises: (i) extraction of coniferous verdure with liquefied carbon dioxide at room temperature while withdrawing extract containing essential oil components; (ii) subsequent extraction of treated raw material with liquefied carbon dioxide, to which hydrocarbon solvent is added in amounts in amount 5-10 vol % ensuring transfer of polyprenol acetates into extract without accompanying components; (iii) isolation of polyprenols from extract by the aid of hydrolysis and chromatography.
EFFECT: enabled production of polyprenols from coniferous verdure possessing high quality characteristics due to purification of solution of concentrate of polyprenol acetates removing various impurities in the extraction step.
