FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used in operative urology, for example, for curing benign hyperplasia of prostate and for lithotripsy. Laser assembly for ablation of tissues and lithotripsy has laser radiator made for pulse generation. Laser radiator has optical oscillator and non-resonator converter which converts radiation to second harmonic of radiation. Laser radiator generates radiation pulses within 0,1-10,0 mcs duration range. Optical oscillator is made on base of Nd:YAlO3 crystal with modulation of Q-factor by shutter at damaged full internal reflection and fiber-optic delay line. Optical isolator is mounted between optical oscillator and two-passed optical amplifier on base of Nd:YAlO3. Non-resonator radiation converter is made to have efficiency of 30% and higher. Attenuator is installed at entrance of radiation into fiber-optic instrument.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of usage of laser assembly.
