FIELD: the invention refers to electro-technique namely to electro-arc arrangements for getting low temperature plasma particularly in mechanized and semi-automatic plasma welding with constant current in the medium of a protective gas and may be used in different fields of industry.
SUBSTANCE: the plasmatron has a body, a protective nozzle, a nozzle for forming plasma with a coaxially located in it a not-melting electrode, channels for feeding gas and a unit for supporting the welding wire with a tip and with a mechanism of continuous feeding of the welding wire. The tip is installed under the angle relatively to the axis of the plasmatron in the range from 37 to 43o. The melting end of the welding wire is directed into the welding bath. The unit for supporting the welding wire provides accurate and constant injection of the wire into the welding bath. To protect the plasmatron from a casual contact with the welded detail a layer of a thermal resistant material is put on its protective nozzle. The unit for supporting the welding wire may be fixed directly on the body of the protective nozzle.
EFFECT: increases quality of the weld due to stable burning of the arc especially on minimal currents.
