FIELD: chemical industry; other industries; methods of withdrawal of ammonia from the gas at production of the hydrogen cyanide.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the chemical industry and may be used for withdrawal of ammonia from the gases at production of the hydrogen cyanide (HCN). The initial gas is exposed to contacting with the aqueous ammonium phosphate with the subsequent distillation for withdrawal of ammonia. Then the produced solution is cooled and routed into the electrolyzer for transformation of the oxalates and formiates into hydrogen and carbon dioxide. The method allows to raise operational efficiency of the HCN production process.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the raised operational efficiency of the HCN production process.
