DEVICE USED FOR METHANE PYROLYSIS Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC C10G9/32

Abstract RU 2318862 C2

FIELD: chemical industry; petrochemical industry; other industries; the devices for methane pyrolysis with production of ethylene, acetylene and other lowest olefins.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the devices for methane pyrolysis with production of ethylene, acetylene and other lowest olefins. The device for methane pyrolysis contains the swirl chamber with the upper and lower butt covers and the guiding apparatus representing the cylinder with a lot of the slit channels made at an angle equal to 30-60° 2 the radial direction. The device for methane pyrolysis also contains the device of feeding the previously mixed gaseous and solid dispersed phases, the device for withdrawal of the phases divided into the fitting pipe for withdrawal of the solid dispersed phase and fixed in the lower butt cover, and the fitting pipe for withdrawal of the gaseous phase and disposed in the center the swirl chamber with the passage beyond the limits of the upper and lower butt covers. At that the lower end of the fitting pipe is disposed in the upper part of the fitting pipe for withdrawal of the solid dispersed phase on the depth of 0.4-2.5 of its diameter. The invention allows the increased effectiveness of the process of pyrolysis of methane.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased effectiveness of the process of the methane pyrolysis.
