FIELD: metallurgy of aluminum, namely pins for applying electric current to self-fired anode of aluminum cell with upper current lead.
SUBSTANCE: pin includes steel rod having cylindrical upper part, cone lower part and aluminum bar for providing pin contact with anode bus. Length of cone part consists of 0.1 - 0.2 of length of steel rod.
EFFECT: possibility for reducing binder content, anode mass consumption and labor consumption for operation of replacing pin.
