FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used when rotary reciprocation and translational reciprocation of driven member according to preset low is required. Proposed mechanism has cam, rod, hinge-connected with pusher (or rocker), flexible member placed between rod and pusher, upper and lower stops, lower stop being connected through adapter with valve, two rollers hinge-secured on rod in contact with upper and lower stop, accordingly. Working surface of lower stop, with valve closed forms angle 
with longitudinal axis of rod, where 
upper end of upper stop is hinge-secured in head of engine cylinder block, and lower end is installed for turning.
EFFECT: increased economy characteristics of engine at low mean speeds of crankshaft.
