FIELD: cryogenic equipment, particularly inert gas and oxygen production.

SUBSTANCE: method for inert gas and oxygen production by air distillation in distillation column system including at least one low-pressure column, at least one medium-pressure column and at least one supplementary column involves removing outlet intermediate flow from intermediate level of medium-pressure column; moving the flow into low-pressure column; diverting outlet intermediate oxygen-enriched flow from medium-pressure column; moving said flow into supplementary column tank; removing outlet intermediate nitrogen-enriched flow from upper part of low-pressure column; removing oxygen-enriched liquid flow low-pressure tank for following gaseous product obtaining; removing liquid outlet oxygen-, krypton- and xenon-enriched flow from supplementary column, wherein krypton and xenon content in said flow exceeds that in the second oxygen-enriched flow; moving outlet phlegm-like liquid flow including at least 78 mole% of nitrogen into supplementary column.

EFFECT: increased krypton and xenon yield.
