FIELD: optical tool-making industry.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the method, in far zone radiation is measured which is dissipated by tip of probe positioned in non-radiation exponentially fading (evanescent) light field, which appears in case of full internal reflection of white light at the shoe of full internal reflection prism. Dissipation spectrum is recorded and spectral position of dissipation intensity maximum is determined.

EFFECT: it is possible to determine wave length at which precise resonance of optical excitation of plasmons, which are localized on the tip of the probe, is realized.
