FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises personal computer for calculating the correction coefficient of the gages to be tested and curves of dependences of pressure on temperature provided with a control circuit and address generation and information channels, generators of testing parameters that have a source of varying temperature (climatic chamber), and source of varying reference pressure. The climatic chambers receive the pressure gages. The device is additionally provided with the intellectual net adapters. The configuration of each adapter differs from that of any other intellectual net adapter and has a unique number and power source for supplying voltage to the adapters and pressure gages to be tested. The personal computer is connected with the generators of testing parameter through the adapter. The gages to be tested are provided with microprocessors having memory cells and interconnected in parallel. The intellectual net adapters are connected with the outputs of the information channels of the computer through a bus. The method of characterizing the microprocessor pressure gages is also presented.
