FIELD: data carriers.
SUBSTANCE: portable data storage device is claimed, which includes controller (2) of universal serial bus (USB-controller), main control unit (7) and NOT-AND flash-memory device (9). Main control unit (7) receives data, which are to be recorded at logical addresses, and instructions for reading data from logical addresses. The unit uses memory address indication table to associate aforementioned logical addresses with physical addresses in memorizing device (9), and records data at physical address which corresponds to that logical address, or reads data from it. Aforementioned indication changes from time to time so that different areas of physical address are associated with aforementioned logical addresses at different times.
EFFECT: increased speed of aforementioned device, also, physical addresses do not fail quickly due to constant association with logical addresses, to which data is recorded relatively frequently.
