FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pin insulator that can be used for erecting overhead power transmission lines and protecting them against fatigue vibration damage has through hole in its head to pass spiral-clamp wires up to center. Wires are secured within hole by tightening bolt that presses wires to hole wall. conductor is secured on insulator by winding spiral wires thereon.
EFFECT: reduced time and enhanced reliability of conductor attachment to insulator.
