FIELD: plastic working of metals, namely shaped housing forming method from thin-wall cylindrical blanks.
SUBSTANCE: tool includes rod, rigid-elastic shaping member arranged inside blank, supporting members for blank. Rod having upper and lower ends may move along axis of blank. Rigid-elastic shaping member includes elastic cylinder, rigid lower fixed shaping disc and upper movable shaping disc. Elastic cylinder is arranged between said discs and it is freely mounted on rod. Supporting members for blank are in the form of upper supporting plate and lower supporting plate. Upper supporting plate is made with possibility of motion and it is arranged on upper movable shaping disc. Lower supporting plate is fixed with possibility of placing on it fixed shaping disc. Tool is provided with stop for upper end of rod and with drive to which lower end of rod is secured.
EFFECT: simplified design of tool and forming process.
