FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of processing wide spectrum of silica-containing minerals and can be used in processing of both ore rocks and production wastes, in particular rice husk. Method of processing according to invention involves treatment of raw material with hydrogen fluoride in presence of anhydrous aliphatic alcohol at ambient temperature, said aliphatic alcohol being selected from methanol and ethanol. When conversion of silica into alcoholic solution of silicon tetrachloride is completed, ligand-forming reagent is added to solution, said reagent being selected from the series of pyridine, dimethylsulfoxide, 2,2'-dipyridyl, and 1,10-phenathroline.
EFFECT: enlarged assortment of raw materials utilized, enabled preparation of neutral compounds suitable for organic and organoelementary synthesis, reduced power consumption and reaction time.
