FIELD: invention refers to the methods of diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: during exploitation of the details of the units of friction they choose samples of lubricant material and define in them with the method of spectral analysis of concentrations picked up during the wearing process of such elements as aluminum, iron, copper, lead, titan, zinc. For each detail of the unit of friction taking into consideration percent content of the elements being primary in the composition material of each detail of the unit of friction one can judge about the degree of wearing of the units of friction. They additionally pick up concentration of sulfur, phosphorus, nitrogen, chlorine etc., being in the composition of wear preventive additives. The speed of consumption of wear preventive additives is defined. According to the changes of concentrations of elements being in the composition of the wear preventive additives and in composition of the units of friction. The rate of consumption of wear preventive additives it is possible to judge about the wearing of the details of the units of friction at early stage, about greasing capability of oil with wear preventive additives and its readiness to exploitation.
EFFECT: increases efficiency and reliability of the evaluation of technical condition.
