FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a gel multimodal additive, which includes filler, a dispersive medium, a structure-generator, namely sodium 12-oxystearate, a modifier of rheological properties, namely vinopol with the molecular weight 12000, as the filler applied is oleophilised antigorite, which has the specific surface not smaller than 70 m2/g and Vickers hardness not higher than 1 GPa, as the dispersive medium used is mineral motor oil with the content of aromatic fractions of 70-80%, with the following component ratio, wt %: oleophilised antigorite - 25-35; mineral motor oil - 55-65; structure-generator - 2-5; modifier of rheological properties - 5-8.
EFFECT: extension of additive exploitation possibilities, complete compensation of wear of friction materials in the process of their exploitation, increase of tribological and viscosity-temperature properties of basic lubricant materials, levelling the abrasive influence of the additive filler on metal components due to the optimisation of selection of the additive components by thermodynamic, kinetic and mechanical criteria.
