FIELD: flaw detection.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises measuring the magnetic field with the use of a multi-member magnetic transducer by means of converting the angle of magnetic induction vector into electromotive force proportional to the induction angle and analyzing the signals. The device comprises a set of identical disconnected magnetic field pickups sensitive only to the direction of magnetic field and insensitive to the magnitude of the magnetic field intensity. The pickups are arranged uniformly over at least three levels to form square cells over the periphery of the circle.
