FIELD: design of cases for desktop electronic and computing equipment and communications equipment, operated under conditions of effect of vibrations and impacts from moving carrier, mainly, ground, air and water-based means of transportation.
SUBSTANCE: shock-proof case contains base, made in form of a tray, and four shock absorbers, fastened to the shock-absorbing base by lower platforms. The tray is provided with vertical side walls along perimeter and inside walls which separate the main section from the panel and cable sections. The case is made in form of a cover with vertical walls. Recesses for front shock absorbers are formed by three walls of the base, and recesses for back shock absorbers are formed by two walls.
EFFECT: reduced height of case due to deepening of shock absorbers into the body and increased density of assembly due to possible placement of case elements, cable box, electronic units and electrical wiring in the space between shock absorbers without increasing the height of the case.
