FIELD: electric engineering, namely, engineering of electric heaters, which may be made flexible or rigid and used for heating individuals, inhabited premises, sport structures, equipment, press-forms, for burning ceramics, bricks, heating up fluids, free-flowing materials, etc.
SUBSTANCE: electric heater, consisting of two layers of electro-isolating material, resistive layer positioned between them, consisting of current-conductive resistive elements and current feeds welded to them, additionally contains on both sides of resistive layer the thermo-plastic film material, 0,1-1 mm thick, and current feeds are provided with current ducts, providing for commutation between current feeds.
EFFECT: increased reliability, simplified manufacturing technology, provision of even heating across whole surface of heater, possible operation with different sources of feeding voltage.
