FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: proposed electric heater is to be utilised for heating residential, industrial and agricultural premises, motorised vehicles cabins and saloons as well as for fluid liquid and gaseous media heating. The electric heater contains a framework fabricated of an electric insulant material and having grooves the resistive element is to be fitted in. The framework is composed of separate component parts represented by straps with crosswise-oriented slotted grooves arranged all along the strap length. In the framework crosswise slotted grooves there is a flexible resistive tape inlaid with its direction changing in the course of the laying process to generate the heater three-dimensional structure with varied cross-section end-to-end channels. On the framework with the tape having been laid in a hard thermally resistant and electrically insulating coating is applied by way of the rotating framework immersion. The crosswise slotted grooves are designed to be zigzag shaped or form and angle of 0-60° relative to the vertical.

EFFECT: development of a three-dimensional electric heater characterised by improved performance, operable within a wide range of capacities and operational temperatures, reliable and resistant to aggressive media as well as such a heater manufacture process simplification and cheapening.
