FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, processes for producing of biologically active additives from animal byproducts.
SUBSTANCE: method involves selecting byproducts; mixing and grinding byproducts; using fish liver and heart as byproducts in the ratio of 9:1; before grinding process, adding vitamin E into resulted mixture in an amount of 5 mg per 1 kg of mixture; homogenizing and drying. Liver and heart of marine mammals may be alternatively used as byproducts in the ratio of 8:2; or fish liver and marine mammal heart in the ratio of 8:2; or liver of marine mammals and fish heart in the ratio of 9:1. Method allows biologically active food additives of cardio and hepatoprotective action to be produced.
EFFECT: enhanced cardio and hepatoprotective effect, prolonged storage life, and provision for retention of native properties in end product.
