FIELD: complex chemical and electrochemical additional metal recovery from tails, mud and depleted ore directly in bank facilities, namely in tailing dumps, in mud accumulation structures and rock dumps.
SUBSTANCE: method involves forming layer of tails, mud or depleted ore (mud) on water-impermeable base; drilling at least one well to supply chemical reagents, at least one well to receive coal anode, which generates oxygen inside mud layer; arranging at least three cementing pairs C anode - Al cathode, wherein two pairs are arranged inside mud body and the third one is located in drain well along with at least one coal or aluminum cathode. The chemical reagents are aqueous sulfuric acid solution or mixture including sulfuric acid and ferric sulfate(+3), preferably mixture with concentration 0.15M H2SO4+0.15M Fe2(SO4)3.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of metal concentration on movable geochemical barrier, increased degree of additional metal recovery from drain water and increased environmental safety.
