FIELD: mode refers to nondestructive control over industrial articles having free volume.
SUBSTANCE: it is assigned for control over tightness of heat producing elements for atomic reactors with aid of helium leak detector. Mode of searching leakages with aid of helium leak detector in articles having free volume includes preparation of articles for control in controlling installation having vacuum chamber, pumping system of vacuum chamber, leak detector in shape of mass spectrometric leak detector, control-measuring devices, locking accessories and pipelines, loading of articles into vacuum chamber, setting vacuum with aid of pumping system of vacuum chamber, switching of leak detector to vacuum chamber, taking readings of leak detector, evaluation of fitness of articles according to these readings by way of comparison them with admissible leakage. At that according to first variant of mode taking signal of leak detector is made before beginning of equipoise state of controlling installation in moment of time tc, and for value of admissible leakage they take meaning calculated according to given formula. According to second variant taking signal of leak detector is made in concrete period of time Tc after switching of leak detector and for value of admissible leakage they take meaning calculated along given formula, according to third variant of mode taking signal of leak detector is made in time T0,9 which they find in given formula and for meaning of admissible leakage they take value equal to 0,9 from normative leakage, according to fourth variant of mode vacuum chamber before switching to leak detector is sustained in closed state during period of accumulation of test gas tn , and meaning of admissible leakage is defined along given formula.
EFFECT: increases sensitiveness of control over articles.
