FIELD: invention refers for usage in oscillating-acoustic diagnostics of machines.

SUBSTANCE: essence is in separation of n periodical and noise component of oscillating-acoustic signal with further plotting of diagnostics vector according to whose direction and size they judge about kind and degree of defect. Moreover noise component is separated by way of successive suppression of known periodic components. At that with aim of increasing reliability of diagnostics of frequency of known separated n periodical components defined along frequency of first harmonic incoming in component they define proportionally to frequency of supporting periodical component found by way of searching in given range of frequencies, with coefficients of proportional control. Moreover factual meaning defined according to construction of machine they define deviation of factual meaning of frequency of each periodical component from calculated meaning and also include it in composition of diagnostics vector. Moreover factual meaning of frequency of each periodic component they define as average meaning of factual frequencies of incoming into it harmonics brought in first harmonic with correction on coefficients of correction defined with kind of function of window of Fourier's transformation according to corresponding mathematical formulas.

EFFECT: increase of reliability of diagnostics at identification of known periodic component in conditions of limited duration of signal.
