FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves taking peripheral patient blood to produce leukocyte suspension. The suspension is incubated with cAMP-phosphodiesterase inhibitor and without the inhibitor. Luminol-dependent chemiluminescence reaction curves are recorded and stimulation index (SI) is calculated from formula: SI= Sinh/Sctr, where Sinh is the chemiluminescence reaction cells intensity in sample with cAMP-phosphodiesterase inhibitor, Sctr is the chemiluminescence reaction cells intensity in sample without the inhibitor. IS being ≥0.6, the organism is considered to possess stable resistance to stress action, otherwise the organism shows stress resistance instability.

EFFECT: high accuracy of prognosis, in particular, when predicting severe postoperative complications.
