FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to fuel composition for use in reactive, gas turbine, rocket and diesel engines. The fuel contains defined quantities of: (a) highly branched alkylaromatic or alicyclic compound, containing an alkyl fragment, with 6 to 25 carbon atoms and an average of about 1 to 5 branches per fragment, and an aromatic fragment, chosen from a group, containing benzol, toluene, xylene, cyclohexane, obtained from the aromatic fragment, and their mixture; where the alkyl fragment of the alkylaromatic compound or alkylcyclohexane has ratio of non-quaternary carbon atoms to quaternary carbon atoms from 10:1 to 5:1; (b) fuel additives; and optionally, (c) common reactive, gas turbine, rocket or diesel fuel mixtures, preferably a mixture of purified oil with low sulphur content or Fischer-Tropsch mixture.
EFFECT: proposed fuel composition has high ignition temperature; low flow temperature; high stability at high temperatures; high density; improved lubrication capacity; low toxicity and good compatibility to fuel mixtures with common jet fuels.
