JUICE CLARIFICATION METHOD Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC C13D3/02 

FIELD: sugar industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves providing progressive preliminary defecation in sectioned preliminary defecator and introducing suspension of second carbonation juice sediment into the latter; carrying out warm and hot defecation procedures; first saturation procedure; providing defecation before second saturation procedure; carrying out second saturation procedure; filtering; sulfitation and filtering of sulfitated juice; before introducing suspension of second carbonation juice sediment into preliminary defecator, exposing said suspension to treatment using magnetic field having induction of 0.24-0.25 T during 9-11 s. Such method for clarification of juice allows clarification efficiency to be increased by 4.7%, content of high-molecular compounds and calcium salts to be reduced by 22-30%, and color of clarified juice to be reduced by 14%.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in clarifying of juice, reduced content of high-molecular compounds and calcium salts, and reduced color of clarified juice.
