FIELD: aids for inspecting parameters of molten material; measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: probe can be used for differential measurement of temperature when determining those characteristics as overheating, aluminum oxide concentration and relation of sodium fluoride to aluminum fluoride in melting bath for aluminum. Probe for inspection bath filled with molten aluminum has steel case, made as single article. It also has pair of open, empty-bodied collectors made integral with it. Collectors are used for keeping sample of molten material with standard material or the sample until is submerged in molten material of melting bath for aluminum. Probe also has temperature detector, provided in any collector, and analyzer connected with those detectors to provide measurement of difference between temperature of samples of molten material in any collector when collectors are submerged in bath, and temperature at which the samples of molten material begin to harden after steel case is removed from bath. According to invention, detector is made for multiple use. Case made as single unit allows heating of any sample the second time, which sample is stored in collectors to provide ability of removal of sample from collectors.
EFFECT: improved precision of overheating and composition in melting bath.
