FIELD: technology for controlling power of transmission.

SUBSTANCE: the method includes stages, at which: radio network controller of at least one base station of radio communications, which controls first cell and second cell, is used to define shifts between transmission power E-RGCH and transmission power DPCH, when mobile station performs soft transfer of control between first and second cell; at first cell, transmission power of first E-RGCH is determined on basis of aforementioned shift, and first E-RGCH is transmitted to mobile station using certain transmission power; and at second cell, power of transmission of second E-RGCH is determined on basis of aforementioned shift, and second E-RGCH is transmitted to mobile station using certain transmission power.

EFFECT: improved management of transmission power for managing transmission power of extended channel of relative representation (E-RGCH) for user data of upstream communication line, transmitted from cell, by controllable base station of radio communications, to mobile station.
