FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: composite material (10), includes two layers of foam carbon (11, 13), laminated together by using binding material (12), that may penetrate pores (14) of both foam carbon layers. Binding material may include isolating or conducting material. Composite material may be configured in such a way so that it serves as current receiver (20) for accumulator battery (100). In order to create positive and negative battery plates, chemically active paste is deposited on composite current receiver.
EFFECT: foam carbon composite material is resistant to corrosion and has large surface area.
