FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: method of fabricating a helical rotor pump stator includes the following: forming a work piece out of elastic material in a metal sleeve and installing along its axis a core with an exterior screw surface repeating a configuration of a stator flowing duct, fabricating additional one or several metal sleeves, forming stator work piece out of elastic material, then after stator work piece vulcanization by means of a pusher and extractor the core is extracted out of the stator work piece at a length less than the length of the sleeve; after that the second sleeve is connected to the first one and filling and vulcanization are repeated. The procedure is repeated with every following step of building up a length of a stator work piece.
EFFECT: there is provided the possibility to use a pump for transporting fire hazardous and explosive mediums, for obtaining a high pressure pumping, for reduction of labour input at stator fabricating and for upgraded accuracy in fabricating stators of a big length.
