FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of manufacture of stator of screw pump including molding of blank made or elastic material in metal sleeve with fitting core along its axis with provision of double start screw surface following configuration of flow duct of stator, number of cores with outer surface equidistant relative to surface of stator flow duct are made. Said cores are made with different cross section not exceeding cross section of stator duct. Shrinkage of used elastic material is determined on samples and then one or other core is installed in sleeve, depending on value of shrinkage of elastic material, and molding is carried out. At minimum value of shrinkage of elastic material, core of maximum cross section is installed. Proposed method increases accuracy of geometric parameters of stator owing taking into account disturbing influence of spreads in shrinkage values of elastic material used for molding. EFFECT: improved quality of manufacture of single-screw pump stator. 4 dwg
