FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: technique of regulating flow of water and simultaneous lowering of noise during operation of a heat and main water supply point, mainly equipped with an automated metering unit, is based on that, a stream of water is passed through a set of axially symmetrical local resistances whose input and output can be reduced and increased in steps respectively, and through a pipe between them, which has a diameter less than the calculated length. The calculated (required) linear pressure losses are achieved with simultaneous reduction in noise down to standard values. The device for implementing the given technique is also described.
EFFECT: lower acoustic vibrations; increased reliability and hydraulic stability of mains and distribution networks.
