FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: urine sample aliquot is mixed with buffer solution of pH 6.8-7.5, containing from 4.2 to 8% mass of hydrogen peroxide in proportions 1:1 or 1:2, after that mixture is kept in dark space at room temperature during not less than one day. Then iodide-selective electrode potential is evaluated directly in preserved solution sample without interfering components elimination. Aplication of this method allows increasing of urine iodide ion detection accuracy at high performance and mobility of method.
EFFECT: method can be applied for large-scale screening and monitoring medical examinations.
