SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the sphere of alerting alarm and may be used in detection facilities that provide information on intruder invasion into secured zone and intruder location in the whole area of monitored territory since intruder influences spatial electromagnet waves. Intruder detection method is based on formation of spatial electromagnetic wave, comparison of wave parameters with reference values of wave parameters in receiving point and formation of alarm signal. In case wave parameters deviate from reference values, primary spatial waves are formed in secured zone at one or more main frequencies, which induce secondary spatial waves that are coherent to primary spatial waves at one or two harmonics of main frequencies, including main frequencies, and/or one or more combination frequencies. System for intruder detection acts in similar manner.

EFFECT: increases efficiency, reliability and power independence of intruder alarm.
