SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and can be used to eliminate ptosis of soft tissues of the middle and lower third of the face. Surgical suture material contains a needle and a thread made of metal, polymer or biological material with protrusions in the form of incisions on its surface. Length of the needle is at least 15 cm. At the end of the needle, which produces an injection, 1 cm long trough is made. Needle with a groove has a cross-section in the shape of a semicircle with a diameter corresponding to the diameter of the filament. Needle is marked at a distance of 2 cm from the end, which is produced by injection. Two-centimeter segment is divided by millimeters. Length of the thread with the notch zone is at least 20 cm in each direction from the middle of the thread, and the notches on each side are directed towards each other. Section of the thread without incisions is not less than 10 cm from each end of the thread to the notched area. Method of cosmetic tightening of soft tissues in the cheek-cheekbone area of the face is performed using surgical suture material. In carrying out the method, a puncture is performed and paired needles are inserted into the subcutaneous tissue at the required depth. Then the needles are separated into two and further each needle is guided along its contour. When the needle is administered, the tissues are lifted.
EFFECT: effective lifting of soft tissues of the middle and lower third of the face of 1–3 degrees.
