FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to obtaining a fire-proof coating for hot surfaces when repairing the lining of industrial furnaces using the method of ceramic welding (fusion) and can be used in metallurgy, chemical-recovery and other fields of industry. The powdered mixture for ceramic welding consists of fire-proof particles based on oxides and/or carbides and combustible based on metals. At least part of the particles is in the form of granules. The granules are made from a mixture of fire-proof particles and combustible particles, uniformly distributed in the volume of the granules, or they are made in the form of a nucleus of fire-proof particles with a coating layer of the combustible particles. The granules can contain extra fluxing material and/or binding additives, either uniformly distributed in the volume of the granule or contained only in the coating layer.
EFFECT: increased stability and homogeneity of the structural, physicochemical, mineralogical and other quality characteristics of the weld up layer.
