FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the sphere of hydraulic engineering immediately dealing with arrangement of fish-passing facilities intended to provide for passage of brood fishes over retaining structures to feeding and spawning grounds. The fish-way consists of a fish duct connecting the upstream and the downstream walls of the hydro-engineering structure, vertical enhanced roughness elements of flowing shape fixed to the fish duct bottom and arranged in transverse rows. The enhanced roughness elements are arranged chequerwise and form amenities for the fish located immediately behind them, with the bulging side of them oriented upstream. The sprawning understratum is a deposition of gravel and pebbles arranged along the fish duct bottom. The vertical slotted orifices are arranged regularly in the intervals between the enhanced roughness elements. The enhanced roughness elements of the even-numbered transverse rows are submerged, being lower as compared to similar elements of the uneven-numbered rows. The vertical enhanced roughness elements have niches in their concave surface sides.
EFFECT: making the fish duct conditions convenient for passage of fish.
